Crafted and worn by Michelle Nguyen and Rebecca Stephens

Because Kaito and Len are Vocaloid characters, they have versatile designs in many different songs. The concept behind Setsugetsuka, or fleeting moon flower, is very traditionally aesthetic and meant to be bold, but still dangerously elegant. We tried out best to make it dark, and still beautiful. The total production time was about 3 days, with maybe another 2 for the paint detailing. These were great to make and fun to wear, and we can't wait to model them again!

About Len: Made entirely from scratch, we tried to keep the shapes simple and delicate. There were no fabrics available that had the pattern we needed for the skirt, so Michelle painted all 5 yards of the red pleated fabric. We also gradient dyed and hand painted the hanging sleeves. The only pieces we can't take credit for is the umbrella, which was carefully selected for it's red floral print.

About Kaito: The only pieces Rebecca did not make by hand were the base black shirt and fan, which was completely repainted to fit the same motif as the skirt and sleeves. All the designs are hand painted. The sleeves are hand dyed.

It would be easiest to contact Rebecca through facebook and prefered names are ineedsugar (as Kaito) and Momo (as Len). We give permission for our images to be used by Anime Secrets

I can be most easily contacted through Facebook or email, and give full permission for images of my costumes to be used elsewhere.
All parts, excluding the base wigs and Ganon's base suit, were sewn, painted, molded, glued, or crafted by hand. Ganon's armor is styrene plated craft foam, and the top section of his wig is made from scratch. Both Zelda and Ganon were made mathematically to scale. The combined hours put into this set is calculated to roughly 250 hours between the two of us. This photo was taken on Mechacon's contest stage by Anime Secrets, and it's one of my favorite full body shots of the two of us together. Preferred names are ineedsugar and Sasquatch.
