World Cosplay Summit Interview Oppritunity

Greetings Everyone,

Over the past few days, I have seen many questions cropping up concerning The World Cosplay Summit, that is held in Japan, namely how to compete, whats expected and much more. So I have approached the United States side of the World Cosplay Summit organization and they have agreed to allow AnimeSecrets to conduct an email interview with them, and will even be able to get questions we have on the Japanese side of the event handled.

So in this thread, if you've got questions, please post them. Due to the nature of facebook and twitter, I can't keep up and record questions off those mediums. So please do post them here.

Note: I'll be closing this off on September 1st to send to WCS Officials.

My question is:

How does the World Cosplay Summit's council keep personal taste from precluding the quality of a cosplay? For example, say one's not a Guilty Crown Fan, but someone pulls off a really amazing Inori cosplay?
