I just got one. Swear this thing came right out of 1982. Vintage Computing at its finest. If anyone has any suggestions of interesting projects I could forego with it, please feel free to mention. Also if anyone knows how to fix the floppy drives... Yeah lemme know please I got one that clicks loudly when I tell it to read the disc and the other one spins as soon as I turn it on even though there isn't a disc in it x.x Again pretty sure these are as old as they get, but the commodore works! Well, one of them does. I got two and the other one doesn't have video, sadly. But hey having one working is okay by me. Maybe I can fix the other one sometime.
I haven't really decided yet. If I can get it all set up the way I want, I kinda wanna dabble in coding stuff for PET BASIC. May not be useful, but I think it'll be fun. I got this more as something to mess around with as a hobby more than something that's gonna have any real use.
Meeting a guy on the side of the interstate to get a free Commodore 64. Sketchiest. Thing. Ever.
