my initial response is im probably going to get, after I saw a few of the screens (which hit my nostalgia switch because it has some SMW in them) I throw my money at the screen, sadly nothing happened, but yeah another reason for me to get a 3DS

Most likely will end up picking this up, pretty hard for me to pass up a Mario game to be totally honest.

I have to say I'll most likely be picking this one up too. The original was the only game that was able to pull me away from my PSP (playing Phantasy Star Portable 1/2) for a few days.

Even so, a lot of the games still give me a hadache no matter how much i adjust them. And then playing in "2D" just means i shoulda stuck with my NDS =\.  Although i admit some of them are getting better, i can only play for only about 30 minutes before i need to go do somethign else.

Yes, but not all people want to be a gamer that sits and plays for hours at a time. I can only stand to sit still long enough to play up to 2 hours, if the game is engaging enough.

I guess I just like to have a day full of different activities :P and besides, the 3D won't give you a headache if you teach yourself to look at the screen a certain way. Once that is learnt, it will be second nature to play in 3D.

That's not necessarily true though. Some people can easily adapt to the use of 3D while other find it extreme difficult if not impossble to given any period of time.

I bought the 3DS at launch down here and have had it for over a year, in that time I have only been able to stand playing the thing with 3D on half way, and even then it is for about 10-15 minutes tops. After that period of time my eyes begin to get sore and my head begins to hurt.

The 3D effect effects all people differently, some people can stand it with ease, others will struggle with it regardless of how long they try, and other won't even be able to see the effect at all.

I guess you're right, Ruen, however, I've had no trouble and neither has my boyfriend. But I can understand if people get headaches from the 3D.

Definitely want to play this! I can't pass up a Mario game either, especially the platformers!
