On the last day of MechaCon VII, AnimeSecrets was able to meet English Voice Actor Scott McNeil for an exclusive interview.

Kusakabe Sakura might be your average middle school student now, but in the future he will create the technology that will endanger the female population in order to satisfy his own evil desires! God sends Dokuro-chan, one of His angels, to kill him, but she decides to save him instead. Unfortunately for Sakura, this means living with a temperamental angel and being whacked to death repeatedly by her giant spiked club, Excaliborg. Luckily, she can also wish him back to life.

MechaCon V – Texas Voice Actor Panel

During Day 2 of MechaCon 5.0, Anime Secrets was able to attend a panel put on by Chris Ayres, Greg Ayres, Samantha Inoue Harte, Wendy Powell, and Vic Mignogna, about the current state of voice acting and the anime industry in Texas.

Live Chat with Tim Buckley, Xfire

Recently, I was browsing CAD, my favourite webcomic of all time. Seeing an announcement for an upcoming live chat/interview with Tim Buckley, the creator of the webcomic, my first insticint was to enter. On the morning of Nov 21st, 2005, I received an email naming me as a participant for the Live Chat with Tim. Little did I know I was among 100 eager participants. To help keep order, the Xfire staff created three separate chat rooms: one for general questions, one for questions for Tim, and one with the actual transcription of the session. Below is the official transcript (with slight edits to match our format) of the event, taken with permission from both Xfire and Tim Buckley.

Lisa,for the past two years, has been kind enough to grace MechaCon with her phenomenal singing abilities: first at a private concert for the opening ceremonies at MechaCon 2.0, and then an open concert at MechaCon 3.0. At both performances, Ms. Furukawa swept the audiences off their feet. On the final day of MechaCon 3.0, I was able to interview Lisa Furukawa at her table in the Artist Alley.

Voltron: Fleet of Doom

Planet Arus and the Near Universe have been enjoying peace ever since the Voltron Lion Force defeated King Zarkon. However, this peace was short lived. King Zarkon and Viceroy Throk of the Drule High Command have joined forces and brought forth a deadly armada. The only way to stop the combined forces of Zarkon and Throk is to unite both the Vehicle and Lion Voltron units. But can the combined might of both Voltron forces defeat this threat, or has the end of life as we know it finally come?
