In the future, the level of pollution has forced humanity to live in domed shelters that shield them from the now toxic outside air. Akagi Utsuo is a product of this cloistered society and let’s just say he isn’t a model citizen. Plagued by both a nagging family and a lack of any real friends, Utsuo picks apart his days as a loner with nowhere to turn to besides a motorbike gang. Isn’t there anything around there that can break this young man’s monotonous life?

Rough

Yamato Keisuke is a freshman at Eisen Private High School, but he’s already made quite a name for himself as an outstanding swimmer. However, he’s hardly alone at Eisen when it comes to young athletic prodigies. There’s Seki Kazuaki, ranked 3rd Dan in karate; Ogata Takeshi, a baseball player with a legitimate shot for the big leagues; and Ninomiya Ami, a promising young diver. Keisuke and Ami are immediately at odds with each other, as their families hold a grudge that goes back two generations. However, fate seems to be intent on forcing these two together. Will Eisen be the scene of a violent crime, or will everything actually work out, and then some?

Nekota Shinosuke and Hoshino Sakura have always hated each other dating back to their younger days in school. However, Nekota is tired of their bickering and has hidden his crush from her. One day he gathers his courage to tell her, but she responds not by saying that she does or does not like him, but by saying it wouldn’t be any use to date her. Puzzled by her reaction, he returns to his house only to find out that his father has plans to remarry and visit Europe. The only problem is that the woman has a daughter who they plan to leave with Nekota for a period of time, who turns out to be none other than Hoshino herself. Dating the girl that could possibly become his own sibling brings unwanted trouble for Nekota, but he’s not the type of person to give up so easily.

Seishuu High School has always been a top notch academic school, without any prominent sports teams. However, this year promises to be different, for three athletic superstars are enrolling at the school: Niimi Katsuya (track), Karasawa Susumu (judo), and Kurahashi Eiji (baseball). However, because of a chance meeting with a certain Nakao Yuri at one of Seishuu’s baseball games, Katsuya and Susumu have decided to play baseball, a sport that they have no experience at. To complicate matters, Kurahashi, the saviour of Seishuu baseball, has decided not to join! With the coach’s – Yuri’s father’s – job on the line, can Katsuya and Susumu pull off a miracle, and actually help Seishuu win a game?

Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind

In the distant future, the great industrial civilizations, finally overtaken by centuries of pollution, corruption, and violence, were destroyed in the holocaust known as the “Seven Days of Fire.” With the decline of civilization, a great poisonous forest known as the “Sea of Corruption” engulfed significant portions of the globe, rendering re-modernization impossible. Nevertheless, over the centuries two significant powers have risen, separated by the Sea of Corruption: Torumekia and Dorok. When war breaks out between these two powers, Torumekia recruits troops from its vassal states, including the Valley of the Wind. Nausicaä, as the Princess of the Valley of the Wind, leads her small contingent to join the army of Kushana, Princess of Torumekia. Little did they know that this conflict would quickly develop into something that would threaten the very existence of humanity.

Miyuki-chan in Wonderland

Your average schoolgirl Miyuki awakes to begin another normal day. Yet, as she heads off to school or work, she is transported to different worlds, which are very disturbing to her since every place is out of the ordinary. She wants nothing to do with them, but she winds up in these worlds, which vary from Lewis Carroll’s Alice in Wonderland to CLAMP’s X/1999, against her wishes. What can Miyuki do to stop these never ending hallucinations?

Mekakushi no Kuni

Otsuka Kanade has a strange power that occasionally lets her see into the future when she touches people. Driven by an honest desire to help people, she tries to change or prevent all bad predictions from happening. However, Naitou Arou, a new transfer student who has a similar power to see the past, finds about her power and tells her to leave things be. However, charmed by her cheerful personality and her honest conviction, he finds himself not only helping her but falling in love with her at the same time. The only problem is that they unexpectedly bump into a third wheel who also has the power to see into the future, and who also has fallen for Kanade.
