This book is written by Alan Foster, and was released shortly after the first movie premiered, and served as a direct sequel in case A New Hope flopped theatrically. Thankfully it didn’t flop, and we have had almost 50 years of content. However even with all the incredible TV shows, books, video games and movies, Splinter of the Mind’s Eye is still a must read for any Star Wars fan.
