South Texas Comic Con 2014

This was the first year for The South Texas Comic Con, a two day convention located in McAllen, Texas at the McAllen Convention Center, on April 26th -27th, 2014. This convention went above and beyond my expectations for a convention’s first year.

Anime Matsuri 2014

This year, Anime Matsuri was held at the George R. Brown Convention Center in downtown Houston, Texas from March 14-16, 2014. Now, Anime Matsuri has become a big name in Texas anime conventions since its beginning in 2007. They were notorious for promising big and delivering little, and even I had been warned about the cancellation of panels, guests, long line times and overall disorganization.

Anime Secrets is pleased to announce the return of our annual Halloween Cosplay Contest! This is a cosplay contest designed for cosplayers to show off their latest and greatest cosplays from this past year’s convention scene. However cosplays with a halloween theme are definitely encouraged, but not required!
