Attack on Titan: Episode 04 Review by Skie

This series began strong and has continued to tell its story with impact and aplomb. It is brutal, gritty, and simply does not shy away from the terrible implications of a society trying to flourish under threat from nearly invincible predators.

Aiura: Episode 04 Review

I’m three more episodes (so like 12 more minutes) into the series now, and nothing very memorable has happened. The main character’s name is Ayuko, and she is basically devoid of personality, merely serving as the voice of reason for her two friends, Kanaka and Saki (who really aren’t even that frivolous…just somewhat annoying).

Ledo remains confused by the concept of culture and the seemingly wasteful traditions of the fleet for which he’s become a feature.

Zettai Boei Leviatan: Episode 04 Review

Zettai Boei Leviatan is, in a nutshell, incredibly boring. Going on episode five, the story has yet to develop… there are random, awkward scenarios thrown at the characters with arbitrary obstacles and nonsensical, easy-out solutions that do nothing to foster a sense of fear or tension.

Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate

Just as the new Hunter arrives in the picturesque Moga Village, a massive earthquake rocks the seaside community and he is tasked with investigating the cause of the quakes. The source is thought to be a Lagiacrus – a leviathan that has devastated the fishing fleet and is known for its aggressive behavior. However, the new Hunter is a bit of a greenhorn and needs to both earn his stripes and gain some gear before taking on the Lord of the Seas. Along with a rescued companion, the Hunter is tasked with everything from gathering resources for the rebuilding of the village to defending it from ferocious monsters in order to become strong enough to defeat the Lagiacrus… and even greater perils beyond.

Yoko Kanno to debut “PIANO ME” concert at Otakon 2013

Yoko Kanno, the renowned composer will present the world premiere performance of her new project, “PIANO ME”, at Otakon. For this concert, the simple intimacy of one performer with one instrument will be enhanced by experimental live visuals that respond to her performance.
