It is the year 2356 AD. One hundred eight-nine years ago, a devastating shockwave caused by the supernova of Hydrus Beta killed 99% of the human population. Now all of humanity cooperates on the Great Mission, as humans aboard space stations struggle to prevent a second shockwave. Into this world steps Katase Shima, who is coming from Earth to go to school onboard the space station Stellvia. Shy Shima must not only struggle with the new environment and the regular troubles of being a teenage girl, but also with the difficulty of being a participant in the Great Mission.

Nakahito is a prepubescent Onmyou mystic-in-training who, due to some urging by the local punks, wanders into an abandoned lab. There, he accidentally awakens the bubbly android Kurumi with a kiss and is suddenly subjected to an energetic, pink-haired android calling him “master”, glomping him, and trying to do everything for him, no matter how major or minor the task. However, the military had special plans for Kurumi, and they want her back.

Claude C. Kenni, son of the legendary admiral Ronixis F. Kenni, has walked in his father’s footsteps all his life. Trying to make a name for himself, he begins his Star Forces career as an Ensign aboard the Calnus, the very ship commanded by his father. However, during an expedition he accidentally gets warped to a strange backwater planet named Expel where the residents believe he’s some legendary Warrior of Light. In the town of Arlia, he learns about the mysterious Sorcery Globe and how it’s plaguing the planet. Curious to find any connection between the Sorcery Globe and the appearance of demons in the country, Claude, along with a girl named Rena, begin their adventure.

Spirited Away

The story begins with the Ogino family moving. They take a wrong turn while trying to find their new house and end up in front of what seems to be and old run-down train station. They walk through it to find this seemingly abandoned village. Even though they see no people, they spot a large buffet of fresh food. While the Oginos gorge themselves in the food, their daughter, Chihiro, wanders off investigating the area. A horrible transformation occurs with her parents, and Chihiro struggles to find help. This is where the story begins. The village begins to change completely, and all these strange creatures start appearing around this spa/hotel. Chihiro is taken in, and begins her search to find her parents. Will she ever see her parents again and escape from this strange new world?

Shingetsutan Tsukihime

Tohno Shiki was sent away from his family home when he was small. His parents are dead, his memories of them are dim and his older sister, Akiha, is a virtual stranger, yet she’s sent for him to return to the family mansion. Unsure what to expect, Tohno finds a sterile, cold and mostly vacant house upon arrival. To make matters worse, Akiha’s sister is formal and strict. It’s hard to see why she bothered to send for him in the first place. Just as you are sure this story is about familial conflicts and reconciliation, a secret about Shiki is revealed, as he is seized with a sudden irresistible compulsion to kill a pretty female stranger. In a whirl of blood and haze he slices her into shreds. Then, as if from a dream, Tohno awakens in his bed, unsure of what he’s just seen. Perhaps it was some strange hallucination? But then the stranger returns, demanding why he killed her.

The Law of Equivalent Trade dominates the actions of Edward Elric, age 15, and Alphonse Elric, age 14. In order to gain something, one must present something of equal value, so says the Law. Ignoring these laws after their mother passed away from an illness, Ed and Alphonse researched their runaway father’s studies on the forbidden techniques of human transmutation to try and bring their mother back to life. The result: Al lost his body and Ed lost an arm and a leg. During their recovery, Colonel Roy Mustang, the Flame Alchemist, contacted them to tell the brothers to take a test that allows them to become Nationally Certified Alchemists. Ed does so, and learns of a Philosopher’s Stone that breaks the laws of alchemy. By obtaining this stone they can return to their normal bodies and a normal life. However, getting their hands on this legendary stone is no simple task.
