The Galactic Starcruiser at Disney World is slated to close down later this year. The Starcruiser is a 2-night Star Wars Themed live actio / roleplay experience set in the Star Wars Universe on board a starcruiser. The event has been critized by many for being too expensive, and not worth the price, while others say it is one of the best experiences they’ve had, and really lived up to the hype. Today on Jedi Squadron, we sit down with Mr. Jon Russo, known for his role as Con Organizer for MechaCon to discuss his experiences onboard the Galactic Starcruiser and learn more about what could’ve been for those fans unable to make the trip before things shut down for good.

Leilani is best known for her role as Teeka the Jawa in the Obi Wan Kenobi TV show and being one of the credited Jawas in The Mandalorian and The Book of Boba Fett. Today Nathan reviews the first book in the Star Wars Legends Universe, Splinter of the Mind’s Eye. This book is written by Alan Foster, and was released shortly after the first movie premiered, and served as a direct sequel in case A New Hope flopped theatrically. Thankfully it didn’t flop, and we have had almost 50 years of content. However even with all the incredible TV shows, books, video games and movies, Splinter of the Mind’s Eye is still a must read for any Star Wars fan. Join Nathan as he breaks down the plot and gives his honest opinion on the book.
