Bokusatsu Tenshi Dokuro-chan

Kusakabe Sakura might be your average middle school student now, but in the future he will create the technology that will endanger the female population in order to satisfy his own evil desires! God sends Dokuro-chan, one of His angels, to kill him, but she decides to save him instead. Unfortunately for Sakura, this means living with a temperamental angel and being whacked to death repeatedly by her giant spiked club, Excaliborg. Luckily, she can also wish him back to life.

Live Chat with Tim Buckley, Xfire

Recently, I was browsing CAD, my favourite webcomic of all time. Seeing an announcement for an upcoming live chat/interview with Tim Buckley, the creator of the webcomic, my first insticint was to enter. On the morning of Nov 21st, 2005, I received an email naming me as a participant for the Live Chat with Tim. Little did I know I was among 100 eager participants. To help keep order, the Xfire staff created three separate chat rooms: one for general questions, one for questions for Tim, and one with the actual transcription of the session. Below is the official transcript (with slight edits to match our format) of the event, taken with permission from both Xfire and Tim Buckley.

Sanada Asami Q&A Panel, Anime North 2005

Agents Blitzwing01 and SovietAirman reporting in with some juicy details from Anime North 2005! This convention had the privilege of being graced with the presence of voice actress Sanada Asami, and we were there to get the scoop at the Saturday evening Q&A. Best known for her role as Dejiko from Di Gi Charat, Sanada-san has played several other parts, including Sakurada Jun from Rozen Maiden, Oe Chizuko from Mahoromatic, and Tamai Shiina from Narutaru. She is also an established idol, having performed the theme songs for much of the Di Gi Charat franchise as well as the ending themes for both seasons of Mahoromatic as a member of the group Triomatic. Dressed in a kimono and flanked by her translator and con staff, she answered about an hour’s worth of questions for the audience. Throughout the session, she was very enthusiastic and even gave her English a shot a few times! The attendees were lively and involved, and everything proceeded smoothly.
