Kanemori Yoshinori

Kanemori Yoshinori has been a character designer for over twenty years now, predominantly working at Studio Madhouse. Debuting in 1985 with Gegege no Kitaro, Kanemori-san has since worked on such projects as Yawara!, Final Fantasy: Legend of the Crystals, the X TV series, and Card Captor Sakura: The Sealed Card. Just recently, Kanemori-san unveiled his debut work as a director: Alexander no Senki(Reign: the Conqueror). Despite twenty years in the industry, Kanemori-san’s career is just beginning, and the anime universe eagerly waits to see what he can do in his new role as a director.

Chris & Greg Ayres Interview, MechaCon V

During the Guest of Honors Meet and Greet at MechaCon V in Lafayette, Louisiana, Anime Secrets was able to meet and talk to guest of honors Chris and Greg Ayres. Below is the interview:

Greg Ayres

Greg is well known for voice acting in many animes such as Evangelion: 1.0 You Are (Not) Alone, D.N. Angel, Black Cat, Heroic Age, Neon Genesis Evangelion, and Ouran High School Club. He is also known for djing at anime conventions for raves and other events.

Chris Ayres

Chris is well known for voice acting in many animes such as Trinity Blood, A Tree of Palme, and Devil May Cry. He is also known for directing Xenosaga and Magikano, and giving a workshop on combat cosplay at conventions he attends.

Cherami Leigh

Cherami is an American Voice Actress working on anime serieses at Funimation Entertainment. She is well known for her roles as Road Kamelot (D. Gray Man), Elicia Hughes from (Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood), and Liechtenstein (Hetalia: Axis Powers).In addition to voice acting, Cherami also has appeared in several live action roles such as Fast Food Nation, The Deep End, and Walker, Texas Ranger

Bespa Kumamero

In March 2001, Azumi Kuwadate and Monkichi Irikura formed the band Bespa Kumamero, which blends techno and electro styles of music. Since 2006, the duo has been featured in many media outlets in Japan, Germany, France, Russia and Hungary. They also hold the distinct honor of being the only group to regularly appear at the Tokyo Cyber Monster event. Most recently, the duo completed a six stop tour in the UK in 2007 and performed in the States at Anime Matsuri 2008. Their first album was also released for sale on January 20th, 2008.

Aural Vampire

Aural Vampire is a primary Electropop/Darkwave/Synthpop band formed in 2004 by vocalist/songwriter Exo-Chika and musician Raveman. The duo is from Tokyo, Japan, and has toured Europe multiple times since conception, as well as performed at Anime Matsuri in 2008. Thus far the band has released one album entitled Vampire Ecstasy (2004) and one single (accessible to download on their website), with plans to release another album later this year.

Dragon Half by Phate

Mink seems to be your average, everyday teenager. Upon closer inspection, though, you become aware that she is in fact the “dragon half” (half human, half dragon) daughter of a powerful knight and the deadly red dragon he was supposed to slay, but instead fell in love with. To add to this, she also has a crush on a famous dragonslayer named Dick Saucer, and plans to go to any lengths possible to get her hands on tickets to his next big concert…
