Destiny’s Hand

Welcome aboard Destiny’s Hand, a ship captained by the chivalrous “Gentlemen Pirate” that is literally unsinkable. The second most noteworthy member of the crew is young Olivia Soldana, a brash sixteen-year-old that can outdo any man. An unfortunate turn of events places Olivia in charge of the ship while the Captain is ill. His dying wish is to seek out the Devil’s Eye, a relic of destructive power that the worst of the worst desire, before it falls into the wrong hands. It is a seemingly impossible task that not only requires four pieces of a map, but a certain veil, a special crystal and a reluctant scholar that hates pirates as well! While seeking these items, Olivia faces the challenge of leading a crew that doubts her authority. This lack of trust is more than just an inconvenience, for the crew certainly needs to be united in order to take on Captain Mulgrew of the Kraken, a vicious pirate also seeking the Devil’s Eye who is not merely a thief, but a relentless murderer. Pirates such as he are causing all of the cities with ports to take action to stamp out piracy once and for all, and even the moralistic pirates of Destiny’s Hand are receiving no mercy. The ship might be unsinkable, but the crew members can easily die, and it seems that many of their deaths are drawing near. Will they be able to carry out the Captain’s wish amongst all of the chaos?

Dark Water

Water is usually the source of life and purity; however, not in this case. In this case, water brings about a murder of a small child, scary creatures of the deep, and many other frightening events. This isn’t your normal water, this is Dark Water.

Chobits

Chobits takes place in world where humans and humanoid computers called persocoms live in harmony. Cram school student Hikdeki Motosuwa is broken-hearted because he lacks the money to buy a persocom of his own, but miraculously, he stumbles across a one lying in an alley with some trash! Finders keepers; who wouldn’t take it? Upon powering it on, he realizes that the persocom’s memory has been completely wiped. All she can even say is “Chi,” so that’s what Hideki begins to call her. He is about as experienced with persocoms as she is with the world, but nevertheless, Hideki finds himself teaching Chi about everything that you can possibly think of; even how to speak! As Chi regains her memory and adapts to life with Hideki, she acts surprisingly human-even more so than other persocoms. Hideki begins to question if she has real emotions–could she be a legendary Chobit? Is it possible for a human and a computer to share true love?

Card Captor Sakura

Nights in Tomoeda have just become a little more interesting recently, ever since the appearance of some weird events. Most people have passed them off as mere weather phenomena or maybe hooliganism, but if one would observe closely, they would see that these events are caused by supernatural spirits. Enter Kinomoto Sakura, a.k.a. Card Captor Sakura, a 10 year old fourth grade girl who attends Tomoeda Elementary School, likes PE, and hates math. You see, it was Sakura who unleashed these spirits, known as “Clow Cards,” into the world in the first place, and now it is up to her to recapture them with the help of the newly awakened Guardian Beast of the Seal, Cerberus (a.k.a. Kero-chan).

Bomber Girl

Kurosaki Guy is a member of the crime-abolishing police force S.T.A.D. to avenge the death of his older brother, Joe. Rashomon Emi is a beautiful, busty, deadly freelance bounty hunter who hunts and mangles her targets for fun and profit and has become the bane of S.T.A.D. When Emi moves in next door to Guy, they decide to overlook their differences and work together to foil the plans of Megalith, Tokyo’s most dangerous terrorist organization. As they fight kooky villains and make new allies, Guy starts to fall for Emi and they get closer to meeting the leader of Megalith, the feared Zayin.

Recently I had a chance to conduct an interview with Voice Actor, Brian Beacock, best known for being the voice of Takato Matsuki in Digimon Tamers and Yamato Delgado in Battle B-Damian via email. Below is the transcript from our correspondence.

Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine

The Forge World Graia is under siege by Ork forces led by War Boss Grimskull. It is their mighty “WAAAAGGHHH” in their attempt to destroy humanity and take all that they see. A Liberation Fleet is on the way, but the time it will take leaves the Orks enough time to destroy the planet and even dismantle one of the greatest assets humanity has in their wars: the Titans. Needing a chance to stall, the Ultramarines Second Company is sent to Graia to defend humanity. Not all is at is seems though, as Chaos is afoot.

Transformers: War for Cybertron
