Austin, TX— Tuesday, June 24, 2014—RTX is thrilled to announce the next wave of confirmed programming, exhibitors and special guests at this year’s convention. Over 30,000 attendees will fill the Austin Convention Center this July 4 – 6 for the fourth annual RTX, where Halo: The Master Chief Collectionwill be featured for consumers.

Halo: The Master Chief Collection offers the complete story of Halo‘s legendary hero, the Master Chief, for the first time on one console, including an entirely re-mastered version of Halo 2 – Halo 2: Anniversary – in celebration of the 10th Anniversary of the fan-favorite classic. RTX is proud to announce that fans will have their first ever opportunity to see Halo: The Master Chief Collection when the Halo 2: Anniversary gameplay demo debuts to the public at RTX. Every game in Halo: The Master Chief Collection is visually enhanced for Xbox One, with Halo 2: Anniversary featuring a fully re-mastered campaign. All four games will run at 60 frames per second on dedicated servers.

Gamers will have plenty of hands-on opportunities at RTX, and can catch demos for upcoming and highly anticipated games such as Bungie’s Destiny and Insomniac Games’ Sunset Overdrive.

Rooster Teeth’s award-winning anime web series RWBY will premiere the first episode of RWBY: Volume 2 at RTX on Saturday during a panel feature the series’ cast and creators.

Additionally, Rooster Teeth will make a special update on its first live-action, feature-length film, Lazer Team, on the final day of RTX as the Lazer Team Indiegogo fundraising campaign will close at 2pm CT on Sunday, July 6. To date, the campaign has more than doubled its original goal and raised over $1.3million dollars for the film.
