Ao Haru Ride: Episode 05-07 Review

I found about the first half of episode 05 to be a bit boring. It involved a lot of exposition and awkward small-talk, but that was sort of just the nature of the orienteering event. The episode definitely picked up, though. I really enjoyed Aya’s optimistic view of the whole event as a “happy memory.”

Glasslip: Episode 05-07 Review

Although he was likely already aware, Yanagi finally explicity confesses her love to Yukinari in episode 05. It seems that she has already accepted that her love will not be returned since Yukinari confessed to Touko, and although Touko rejected him, Yukinari is still hung up over her.

Glasslip: Episode 02-04 Review

As I mentioned in the last review, the characters are very well-defined. I already feel attached to most of them, and even without the plot twist, their everyday “adventures” are interesting enough to keep me engaged.

Ressha Sentai ToQger: Episode 14-16 Review

Aaaannd ToQger is still stuck in the figurative station with no real story development. I was really hoping for things to pick up and actually happen by now, but no such luck. The only bright side is that I am still entertained nonetheless, but even that entertainment is starting to dwindle.

Captain Earth: Episode 14-16 Review

Love is in the air, and there certainly is plenty to go around in this next installment of Captain Earth. The scenes have only become more poetic and stimulating in this tale of interstellar love and war recently, and I still feel surprised at how well this anime has held my interest thus far for a genre I rarely tread into.
